What is a chapter and how can I register?

A SWK Chapter is a branch of the main nonprofit Stand with Kids. It is a group of motivated students ready to support children in low-income communities. Any group, big or small will help us spread our mission! It can be a school club, community group, or family/friends. Chapters can fundraise and connect with organizations in their community in the ways they see best fit, but they must maintain positive relationships in order to make a bigger impact on the world.

Steps to Creating a Chapter:

(If you are doing this with a school then you must register this as a club in the school before registering with SWK)

  1. We will send out an email within 10 business days to set up a meeting with the secretary and founder.

  1. Create your team's officers

Make an application form and recruit your officers

  1. Plan out goals your chapter will carry out

  1. Draft out event/fundraiser ideas

  1. Recruit members

  1. Make a document in the shared drive with all the costs and number of volunteers, etc.
