Here are some simple steps in setting up a donation drive with your team or on your own!

Why is this important?

You and the public charity are making a difference in the world! It also helps to establish a good relationship with the organization and creates a positive image for our organization!

You are amazing for wanting to support the growth of children in poverty.

  1. Ask for available space

Send an email or talk in person to someone in charge of a business/organization asking if there is space for a donation bin.

  1. Create posters/flyers/newsletters

You need to advertise the donation bin to actually get donations! Create flyers with your team and post them in schools or ask your school to send out a newsletter with the location of your donation in and how to donate!

  1. Set up a start and end date

You need to make sure you communicate clearly with the organization holding your donation bin for a set period of time about where you will keep the bin and when you will pick up the donations. It is possible they might let you keep it there permanently and let you pick up monthly.

  1. Collect Donations!

Tell your friends/family to spread the word and get people to donate. Service hours will be offered at the end.
